As we get closer to d-day, I’ve been checking the forecast. It’s hard to know what would be the ‘perfect weather’ for the trip. A part of me is looking for full sun and blue skies, but cycling in mid July in such weather can be as problematic as wind and rain. Somewhere in between I guess.
Currently there seems to be a mix of sunshine and showers forecast, and at least the wind doesn’t look too bad.
