Authorised Insurance Providers

Drummond Clinic has been approved by the following insurance providers:

  • Aviva
  • AXA PPP
  • CS Healthcare
  • Cigna Healthcare
  • Healix
  • Healthcare RM
  • Norwich Union
  • PMI Healthcare
  • PruHealth (Standard Life)
  • Simply Health
  • WPA Healthcare

The usual practice for insurance-approved treatment is for you to get a referral from your doctor or specialist. You will then need to contact your insurance provider and get approval for the treatment and confirmation that Drummond Clinic is one of their approved healthcare providers.

At this point you can then make an appointment with Drummond Clinic. You will need to tell us the name of your insurance company, your policy number and claim number.

For appoved insurance treatments you will not need to pay Drummond Clinic for your treatments. Each month we will send the insurance company an invoice for the treatments you have received that month and they will pay us directly.

For customers who have an excess on their policy, your insurance company will inform both Drummond Clinic and you that they have not paid part or all of an invoice because an excess needs to be paid by you. Drummond Clinic will then write to you directly requesting payment of the excess. You can make this payment over the phone by debit or credit card, or you can send us a cheque.

Customers receiving treatment approved by their insurance companies might need to be aware that the rate we charge your insurance company is higher than if you settled your account directly after each treatment. There are several reasons for this but it might be relevant to you if you have a limit on the amount of benefits you can receive from your insurance provider. For further information on this, please speak to anyone at the clinic.

Unfortunately at the moment we are not on the approved healthcare professionals list for Bupa. We are trying to rectify this.
